Ready in about 30 minutes, it’s a casual, crowd-pleasing dish that combines the bold flavors of seasoned ground beef and beans with the satisfying texture of gooey cheese and crisp Fritos for a fun twist on classic chili.

Ingredients
- (1 pound) Grass-fed Ground Beef
- (1) Small yellow onion, diced
- (2 tablespoons) Taco seasoning
- (2 teaspoons) Chili powder
- (1 teaspoon) Garlic powder
- (To taste) Salt & pepper
- (2 (15 oz) cans) Chili beans
- (1 (8 oz) can) Tomato sauce
- (2 cups) Shredded cheese
- (2 cups) Fritos corn chips
- (2 teaspoons) Hot sauce (optional)
- (For topping) Sour cream
- (For topping) Diced red onions
- (For topping) Guacamole
- (For topping) Lettuce
- (For topping) Diced tomatoes
- (For topping) Olives
Directions
- Heat a large oven-safe skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat.
- Add diced onion, ground beef, taco seasoning, chili powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper.
- Cook for 5–6 minutes, breaking up the beef as it browns, until no longer pink. Drain excess grease if needed, then return the meat to the pan.
- Stir in the beans and tomato sauce, reduce heat to low, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
- While it simmers, preheat the oven broiler to high.
- Layer half of the cheese over the chili, followed by the corn chips, then top with the remaining cheese.
- Broil for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot with your choice of toppings.
